Poster Preparation

During the ESDAR Congress about 250 scientific posters will be presented. The congress centre offers poster boards of 1,30m in height x 1,0 meter in length. Printing your poster on size A0 will perfectly fit with the poster board. Materials for fixation will be provided. Authors are kindly asked to check their poster number either in the programme booklet or on the conference web site.
Please make sure that your poster is well prepared. As in the past the best poster presentation will be donated with a very attractive price.
The headlines of the poster should include Title, Author Names and Institution according to the submitted abstract. Please use large bold fonts to make the headlines readable to at least 1.5m in distance.
The poster should be structured well including following main paragraphs: Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion. With the given number of posters, participants have only little time to stay at your poster. To „ sell“ your scientific information, put eye catchers on the poster, keep the text short, include informative figures. Often the Discussion and Conclusion chapter is read first and then if the topic is of interest it will be read completely. Illustrations and tables help to better get a quick insight into your work.
